The holidays offer us a time to reflect back on the year that came before. With our old friend/adversary (that’s a frenemy, right?) the 2400-point SAT about to say goodbye forever—don’t worry, you won’t see it again in heaven—today feels like a good day to celebrate one of our favorite things: a student of ours who scored a perfect 2400.
It happened on the December 2015 SAT, and it was glorious. He worked hard, took a lot of practice tests, and wanted it. He performed well, et voila: 2400.
I am almost tempted to write a weird hybrid Christmas carol about it, but on second thought…maybe I won’t.
Cheers to another good year of SAT prep. Old SAT, you’ve been a real frenemy. We’ll kind of miss you when you’re gone.
